In contrast to last year's indecisiveness, this year I knew what my AotY was going to be very early on. It was a great year for music in general, and surprisingly I found myself branching out and listening to an even wider variety of stuff than usual. Like an addict though, I couldn't go too… Continue reading Album of the Year 2018: Loma (Self-Titled)
Simply put, I'm using this blog post as a place to host photos for posting on the CustomFighters.com forum. Ain't nobody reading this blog anyway, so whatevs.
Lord only knows if I'll ever get back to a point where I can make guitars again, I'm certainly a long ways off currently. So to say that this is "possibly the last" Zodiac might be fairly realistic. Either way, it's a super rare guitar, only four ever made, and only two in this final… Continue reading Possibly the last Zodiac.

Me: "Part of the reason I have two jobs is because I want to get a motorcycle." Beth: "I have a motorcycle that you can have." Me:… Continue reading That Free Bike
Which is to say simply, I bought a motorcycle. I can say confidently that it was the right deal, at the right price, at the right time. I had the money, and a means of transporting it back home, and that's what made it work. But I have to say, it's about as close to… Continue reading My Obsession Done Gone and Got the Best of Me.
Part of doing these posts about my record of the year is that I have actually had years where a single record was on rotation way more than in years past. I'm a huge music slut frankly, and I absorb as much as I can. And generally even when I do obsess over a new… Continue reading Album of the Year 2017: Undecided
This photo of my sister and I.
This was a fairly obvious one for me, as I've been a fan of the band Failure for many years. So when I heard that they were in the studio making a new album, after a 13 year hiatus/breakup, I pre-ordered the record immediately. They let a few songs out early, which just served to… Continue reading Album of the Year 2015: Failure – The Heart is a Monster
